Trouble Syncing lights with Synapse

I just built a new PC and everything is working fine. My only issue is that I cannot adjust the color of my RGB CPU fan on my hyper 212 black using razer synapse, it’s just stuck on red. I can adjust it using MSI mystic light alone, but I control mystic light through synapse so I can sync my peripherals. My case fans sync with synapse through mystic light, so I think it has to do with my case fans being 3 pin RGB and CPU fan being 4 pin RGB. Is there any way around this?
