I am trying to install Synapse 3 but Virustotal is identifying the W32.Strab.gen_260344 worm in the install file, version 1.13.1.4333. Is this a false positive?

You can upload the file on virustotal.com to check it with ~50 AV software, and you’ll see, that some of them will show false positive.
