Anyone else having Razer Synapse 4 crash every time after opening it?

Had this problem with both Synapse and Chroma crashing, I uninstalled Chroma and now Synapse works fine. Obviously not suitable for anyone who uses both but I only use Synapse.

I’m having 2 issues with Synapse 4, that I never had with Synapse 3. My Headset cord is finicky and doesn’t like to be bumped, that was normally dealablem, it’d disconnect and reconnect and I’d be good to go. Now after it disconnects, 95% of the time, it randomly turns off the Mic in Settings, not just making the Mute Button active, nope turns it off in Synapse 4’s Settings. It’s also arguing with my PC about being connected, when I haven’t even touched it, and sometimes the only way to make it stop, is to restart the PC.

The second issue, is 95% of the time I start up the first Game of League of Legends, and suddenly after it’s been working, Synapse 4 shutdowns, and suddenly my Profile isn’t active and I’m trying to use an Ability that is no longer there. And when you’re playing a MOBA like League of Legends, having your Abilities no longer be there, more often than not will lead to you dying.

I’m going to change it back to Synapse 3, as I never had these issues in Synapse 3. Even Microsoft makes sure their OS is in better functioning condition, before forcing people to upgrade to it. I have no Synapse 4 Products, everything I have is Synapse 3 generation, and as much as I love Razer, I love being able to actually Game, without interuptions from my Peripheral Software playing up daily. If this doesn’t get fixed, I'll be looking at different Brands for my Peripheral setup. Such a shame that they’re allowing their Products to be ruined by Malfunctioning Software, to the point we can’t even use the products at times.

To fix this Im guessing theres only certain devices that go RGB, and I have one of those devices, so you just have to uninstall the chroma when uninstalling razer. FYI macros dont save on synapse 4

i’ve read every comment. NONE of you hit the mark. Razer needs to fix their software. Not only does it crash, it corrupts the profile on your onboard memory,  Alters hit reg and click accuracy in games. changes mouse behavior.  The problem for me Started with Synapse 4. I get stutters and when going up in polling rate and swiping the mouse theres unbelieve screen freezing and lag. ( shouldn’t be happening on a top gear pc)  One day i decided to download synapse beta. Reset viper pro 3 to factory. uninstalled, deleted folders, restart pc, and downloaded synapse 3 to then set up my profile wallah problem solved. no lag when moving up in polling mouse behavior and hit reg in games normal. HOWEVER i realized mouse behavior kept changing on its own. so then came to the conclusion that i had to disable and stop razer game manager. that stopped the mouse from changing behavior and remaining normal exactly how i wanted it. 2 weeks later here i am trying to get on synapse beta to factory reset my mouse again which required me to turn game manager back on to open synapse 3 and uninstall etc. The problem came back the moment i turned it on but Synapse beta wont open now. It did open the first time i downloaded it and worked perfectly fine. same with 4. no issues for months and now its an issue. fix it or at least figure out what you guys did to make the programs so unstable.  synapse 3 is STABLE and allows my brand new viper pro 3 to act like its normal self.  I just can’t factory reset in synapse 3. and I have a brand new top of the line pc, never installed any RGB software and uninstalled/disabled any RGB that came with the pc. Never used any other razer app other than synapse for the mouse. I did notice razer central service never opens and that could be the issue. i’d just like Razer to really figure out what the trigger is because prior to the jan 27th update synapse beta worked fine. razer 4 started crashing days prior to that 2 weeks ago.

Had this issue start yesterday, spent like 12 hours trying to figure it out. Event viewer shows something wrong with the a file in razer chroma app crashing out and causing both synapse and chroma to shut down a few seconds after launch. I dropped the event viewer log off the error into perplexity and got it to examine the log, it told me to uninstall the chroma app. Doesn't know of a workaround to use except third party apps. Thing is I play Elite Dangerous with elite chroma, with chroma connect helping to tie asus armoury crate and icue together with razer bto generate the right lighting for the events that happen in game. When I manage to get on my computer next in going to try installing as admin, and looking into firewall settings, perplexity suggested SignalRGB, but given the mix of companies in my system (I also run an aio and case aura from cooler master that ties into razer without any linking software), that may just cause more headaches than it's worth. I did ask perplexity if there was software to help link it all together on SignalRGB, but the response I got was disappointing.
