blackshark v2 thx spatial audio issue after recently synapse 4 update

i fixed my issue. i uninstalled all synapse and razer apps. started the install then unplugged all razer devices. let it install then plugged everything back up and now it works perfectly. i also had a 3.5mm extension cord plugged in and unplugged it and plugged the headset directly to the usb sound card without the extension and now it works

well got the back audio but it still is reversed channels

I am having this exact same issue. Let’s hope something changes soon.

I’ll try to go back to Synapse 3 seeing everyone is doing that in the mean time.

I had that problem too, blackshark v2 usb, synapse 4. Reinstalled Synapse 3 and it was 90 percent fixed as in the img.

Exactly this. It was driving me mad until I stumbled upon this thread.

I came to inform everyone who is having the same problems as mine, a few days ago I contacted Razer support and received the response that they really identified the problem that is occurring and that the programming department is already checking and in the future something should come update for fix.
So just wait for the moment.

Good to know. Will they let you know when there’s a fix? At the moment I’ve downgraded to Syanpse 3 and it’s a bandaid solution.

Hello guys, I wish everybody is okay. Is there anyone try to synapse 4 see if the problem is fixed?

Synapse 4 still bugged, switch back to Synapse 3 and I would want to open a ticket but I see this page. Read all, waiting for Razer update that will fix this problem, at the moment I'll hope that with Synapse 3 the game doesn't Alt-tab (it's an annoying problem that occurs to me when playing fullscreen with Synapse 3)

Is there some page on website to check if will an update be pushed? Thanks

Just got a set of Blackshark v2 for Christmas and am having this same issue of audio reversal when the THX enhancement is on.

Yeah sorry man. Seems like Razer hasn’t pushed a fix yet. You can get a better Spatial Audio experience with Synapse 3 but you won’t have snap tap for your Razer keyboard if that matters to you.

I have the same exact issue Haemus22 outlined in his screenshots. Thank you guys for mentioning Synapse 3 as the fix for this issue!

I FOUND A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM WITH SYNAPSE 4
turn on windows sonic for headphones under the sound devices in control panel
audio channels now come from the correct directions when using thx spatial audio

Downloaded synapse 4 again but this fix didn’t work for me :( It still has the audio channels flipped with windows sonic on or off. Synapse 4 doesn’t seem to work with the Balckshark v2 at the moment. Back to synapse 3 and the audio channels seem to work fine, but still funky when calibrating (sometimes flips the front L & R channels), but overall better sound quality in general than what Synapse 4 can provide because THX is at least functional in 3.

I finally solved this problem: I bought Logitech Pro X headset 🤣🤣 not to mention also problems in the past with Synapse that alt-tab games (returning to desktop while playing: there is also a page with a discussion on it). 

I have same issue, I sent log file and they said update to synapse 4, I did but problem is not gone. 

Problem is if I choose THX Spatial Audio mode and choose another tab for example enhancements and back to sound tab mode returns to stereo, even If I try to change EQ to check headset response there is no response, same sound, no changes. Like Headset lives his own life out of Synapse ))) 

Please Razer fix this issue!

idk if that will help anyone, but if you go to system>sound>properties in windows settings and set audio enhancements off, the sound has the right directions and i think even surround, although the app is still faulty, dont know how to fix that 

I just asked how the solution to the problem was going, I had written on December 3 and this is what they responded to me:

 Thank you for reaching out to us. We want to assure you that we are aware of the issue regarding the BlackShark V2 USB THX Audio inverted. Our development team is currently looking into this and working on a resolution. We appreciate your patience while we address the concern.

At least they already know about the problem, let's hope they correct it soon, they are sending reports and putting pressure on, in the meantime to continue using synapse 3

having the same problem with Blackshark v2

Just started yesterday with the Razer Kraken V4 Pro. Sound is flipped

I have this EXACT problem including all images sounding just as you describe for me, any fix?

I am having exactly the same issue. No sound on the 2 bottom ones on thx. Also reversed sounds on left and right. And I also have an issue where synapse 4 claims I have to set razer usb card to my “default” sound device even though that is done and it is 100% sure the default device. Still everytime when  I open the app I cannot edit most of the settings becuase it is claiming that I need to set the default device….

I just checked the forum and it seems people have this issue for quite a while now and razer is not fixing it,
Oh and yeah i have the same issue as well sounds are reversed on THX which makes it unusable
Razer please do something!
