Linked Games and Auto Profile Switch no longer works after an Synapse Update (Jan 2026), profile switch doesn't affect the apps i'm using. i did a clean install to the software, the linked games now takes forever to scan games and i can't even add programs to it.

can no longer add apps & can't auto switch profiles anymore.
i’ve installed Razer Cortex and that also takes forever to scan games. what is going on with razer and their scan feature being completley broken recently?
now it says “Requires Razer Synapse”, i tried it on another computer and it’s still the same thing. :(
I have an open ticket about this issue. They’ve responded and we’ve had a bit of back and forth, with them just suggesting the usual stuff(repair, reinstall after driver clean, scan windows, even updating .NET Framework). None of this suggest that they are aware of the issue and that it is most definitely on their end.
I hadn’t made a single change to my PC before it stopped working. Had no idea the Synapse software even updated itself sometime between the end of Jan and 1st week of Feb. I really don’t like when I don’t have control over when an app on my system performs and update. Especially when it comes to stuff like this when an update clearly breaks something. I will usually give an update some time and check online for any buzz that there’s issues before eventually updating myself.
