Feature Request - Completely Disable Chroma While Still Running Synapse

I have a Razer mouse, keyboards, ARGB controller, and have recently purchased a Sieren V3 Chroma microphone.

I really like Razer hardware, but I have had no end of issues with the software - particularly when it comes to using Razer Chrome to control RGB lighting.

I have been using SignalRGB to control my LED lighting of late, and it just works. No effort, no issues - it just works. I can't however run Razer Synapse and SignalRGB at the same time, meaning that I lose other functionality provided by Synapse.

My feature request - allow me to completely disable Chroma while still runing Synapse. I can then use something else to control RGB lighting while still making use of Razer Synapse features.

How about they fix the app. I find it amazing the Razer ARGB controller works without issue on SignalRGB but nothing but problems in Synapse 4. Also, why does Synapse/chroma have such a hard time with Lian Li products connected to the ARGB controller? These were supposed to work together. Where's the 26 led fan option. Nothing but Razer products and I can't use the Razer software without issues.

I actually started using SignalRGB because of a bug in Synapse that meant my Razer ARGB controller wouldn't work properly. SignalRGB controls it without issue.

This bug has been "fixed" in Synapse. It's still ropey, but not as completely broken as it was.

Oh I know. I am still reporting the issues with this device. I bought one in 2020. I planned on a new PC build in 2025 so I had bought a second one June 2024. The device is awesome the software makes it bad. Don't get the Chroma light strip set with this device. You will have things move from their saved position when you switch lighting profiles. All good in Synapse 3. That's why I bought a second set. What a terrible software that it ruins basic functions of a device.

Sure it has been "fixed"... 60+ cases in 2025. Mostly regarding the ARGB controller.

I still need to bring my old PC on and see if it detects the Lian Li strime plus v2 properly. Tried it on Synapse 4 right before they took down Synapse 3. Didn't work so I put that PC back on Synapse 3 and firewalled it from updating. That was only a couple of weeks ago.

The whole system does not recognize ARGB hubs so it will just leave ports with hubs undetected. This includes Lian Li strimer and Lian Li tl lcd fans. Lian Li not properly supported. Device needs a manual mode with a zero led option for empty ports. It needs to keep the assigned led count regardless if anything is detected or not.

You tried SignalRGB?

I'm just using signal from now on. Synapse is installed but disabled. If I need to change any settings I can launch it, change them, then shut it down again. Only downside is that certain features of my hardware needs the software running in order to work…

Might replace the Razer ARGB controller with a nollie controller - should drastically increase the number of LEDs that can be controlled (and actually work).

Signalrgb does not allow me use of Freyja. This is crazy this started around CES 2025. When the update that made Nommo v2 came out that made it move from saved position in Studio. I was in the original beta with these same products. Why is this still happening?

Nothing really does though.  Razer Freyja haptics only work with audio | Razer Insider https://share.google/uWMMQMnhFdfSzSWzn
