Hi, i am unable to disable auto-updates. In the old razer snypase, there was a setting for me to disable this, however, in this new razer synapse 4, I am unable to do so. When I open the settings, there is no option for me to disable auto updates. I have attached a screenshot below
I am having the same issue and twice now thee updates have stopped my mic working and had to do uninstall and reinstall to get it working again and that is messing with my job.
Really Razer? How much more do you want to make your software unusable. Shame on you.
+1. The Synpase 3 had this feature, the 4 - doesnt. I will downgrade to 3 and not use 4 until this option is present.
There are now bugs with chroma 4.0.603 and Razer won’t fix this, this is a direct copy paste of what they said
I repeat the bugs first the profile bug started since version 4.0.2xx or something and the frejya haptic strength now seems to be 50% lower, I need to boost from 4 haptic strength to 6 max and bass from 50% to 100% just get get 80% of what it was before. this is STARTED SINCE 4.0.4xx VERSION 100% and they won’t fix it!! I need to lower the CHROMA to version 4.0.3xxx at least!!! PLEASE SOMEONE

Yeah I agree. My razer freyja works with older version 4.0.33 but whenever I install it it auto updates right away. I could experience it working with old version by tampering with network connection but I can’t play any games with no internet so that is not a fix.
Razer going to end up losing money because of their software, their hardware is PREMIUM tier god stuff.. But forcing the software with it is just a stupid idea, and sadly people at the top probably don’t know this if they were tapped in, they would just make a really light version where u can download a specific software for your hardware.. I love my Huntsman Mini Pro v2 so much, but when I made a thread with a similar problem asking why they don't just make an alternative software that doesn’t make my game drop from 500 frames to ~120 they deleted that.. Its a shame its like having a Bugatti but it comes with a key that's made out of poop.. So if u want to use the car u sadly have to have the poop key… I just think long term it's going to ruin their business.
