Issue with THX game profiles in Synapse 4 | Razer Insider

I'm having a problem setting up THX sound profiles in Synapse 4 for a Kraken V4 \ headset. The program has the ability to create separate game profiles and activate THX immersion mode, but when you change the profile for the game, the sound does not change.

However, if you change the EQ settings or switch to a different general profile, the sound changes. I also installed the THX Spatial Audio software, and it has separate profiles for each game, including the THX immersive mode, working correctly.

From the description of the headset, it follows that THX mode does not require the installation of additional software, everything must be configured via Synapse 4. However, I don't understand how to configure sound profiles in Synapse 4 properly to match THX\mode.

Please help me solve this problem.

I wrote for a similar problem.

In my case games like Cyberpunk or Forza Horizon 5 are not recognized as THX compatible and the THX logo does not appear next to them.

Unfortunately no one from Razer support responds.…

I have a NOMMO V2 with built-in THX Spatial drivers

I have Nommo V2 Pro and THX doesn't work when you click on it. Custom Equalizer also doesn't work, nothing happens. Only Presets (Movie, Gaming etc.)  work. Synapse 4, latest firmware for speakers-subwoofers and clean install of Win11 Pro. I think there's a bug which Razer should fix it.

To get THX working you must make sure you have the following drivers

 

and APPs installed.

 

After, making sure you have enabled the "Audio Optimization" option, with "Device Default Effects" selected.

 

If drivers and APPs are installed, usually enabling the latter option solves the problem.

 

If you are missing the drivers and APPs I mentioned, then you need to turn off the Nommo V2 PRO, uninstall Synapse 4 and Chroma, install Synapse and Chroma again, turn on the NOMMO V2 PRO and wait for it to automatically install the drivers and THX APPs.

I reinstalled multiple times but Synapse 4 doesn't install THX drivers for Nommo V2 Pro. Is it possible to install these drivers from another source instead of Synapse ? Even a manual installation alternative would be good.

I don't know. 

With Nommo V2 no PRO after the synapse 4 installation, it's enough to connect the USB cable, power on the system and in this mode, start automatically the installation of THX drivers.
