Dear Razer Support Team,
I am writing to formally complain about the current software limitations and unresolved issues affecting the Razer Kraken V4 Pro.
I purchased this headset expecting a premium product with proper software support and full functionality. However, the experience has been extremely disappointing.
The issue is not simply a hardware problem. The headset itself works, but the Razer Synapse software does not provide the same level of functionality and flexibility that users previously had with the Kraken V3 Pro.
One of the major issues is the Enhancements functionality. With the V3 Pro, users were able to use multiple enhancements/features together, while the V4 Pro is currently restricted in a way that significantly limits the functionality of the headset.
This is especially frustrating because the V4 Pro is supposed to be a newer and more expensive premium product. Customers should not have to pay more money only to receive fewer software capabilities than an older model.
What makes this even more frustrating is that this issue has reportedly been raised by users since December 2025, yet there is still no clear solution or proper communication from Razer regarding when this functionality will be fixed or restored.
This gives customers the impression that Razer is simply not prioritizing the software experience of the Kraken V4 Pro.
We purchased this headset based on the features and capabilities advertised for a premium Razer product. We should not have to accept missing or restricted functionality because Razer has not implemented the necessary software support.
We need a clear answer from Razer:
- Is this issue officially acknowledged by Razer?
- Is Razer actively working on a fix?
- Will the Kraken V4 Pro receive the same enhancement functionality available on the V3 Pro?
- If yes, when can customers realistically expect the fix?
- If Razer does not intend to fix this, why was this functionality restricted on the newer and more expensive headset?
Many customers are extremely disappointed, and if this issue continues to be ignored, we will consider submitting formal complaints through the appropriate consumer-protection channels and raising the issue publicly with other affected customers.
We are not asking for something unreasonable. We are asking Razer to properly support a premium product that we already paid for.
Please do not send a generic troubleshooting response. We need a clear and specific answer regarding the software limitation and whether Razer intends to fix it.
