I have the new Razer 16 inch with nVidia 5090 graphics card. Unfortunately, the manual fan control does not work in the Synapse 4 software!
I can set all the curves manually the way I want. And what is completely bizarre is that the theoretical values are even displayed at the top of the hardware monitor.
But: The fans don't do what they should do! Even when the display shows 0 revolutions, you can clearly hear both fans. Even if the CPU and GPU temperatures are below 45 degrees.
If I set the curve to maximum, nothing changes, the display then shows 5,000 rpm, but the noise doesn't change! So they just keep spinning as before.
If I set it to automatic, everything works as it should. Even when a fixed number of revolutions is set. However, as the lowest value here is 2000, this is too loud for me in a quiet environment.
I wrote to support about this, but all I got were completely useless replies asking me “about the type of noise” and asking for videos that I couldn't provide within 24 hours. Then “the case” was closed. But apparently nobody really read my request anyway. Too bad. I still have a week to consider whether to return the device. At a price of 4,800 euros, I won't keep the device if there is no solution. I hope someone here can help.

Ich habe das neue Razer 16 Zoll mit nVidia 5090 Grafikkarte. Leider funktioniert in der Synapse 4 Software die manuelle Lüftersteuerung nicht!
Ich kann zwar alle Kurven von Hand so einstellen, wie ich es möchte. Und was völlig skurril ist: Die theoretischen Werte werden oben im Hardware Monitor sogar angezeigt.
Aber: Die Lüfter machen nicht das, was sie wollen! Selbst wenn die Anzeige 0 Umdrehungen anzeigt, kann man beide Lüfter deutlich hören. Auch wenn die Temeraturen von CPU und GPU unter 45 Grad sind.
Wenn ich die Kurve auf maximal setze, ändert sich auch nichts, die Anzeige zeigt dann zwar 5.000 Umdrehungen an, aber das Geräusch ändert sich nicht! Also drehen sie einfach so weiter wie vorher.
Wenn ich auf Automatik stelle, funktioniert alles, wie es soll. Auch bei der Vorgabe einer festen Umdrehungszahl. Da hier aber der kleinste Wert bei 2000 liegt, ist mir das in einer stillen Umgebung zu laut.
Ich schrieb das dem Support, bekam aber nur komplett nutzlose Antworten, in denen man mich "nach der Art der Geräusche" fragte und man Videos haben wollte, die ich nicht binnen 24 Stunden liefern konnte. Dann wurde "der Fall" geschlossen. Aber offenbar hat meine Anfrage ohnehin niemand wirklich gelesen. Schade. Ich habe noch eine Woche Zeit zu überlegen, ob ich das Gerät zurückgebe. Bei einem Preis von 4.800,- Euro werde ich das Gerät nicht behalten, wenn es keine Lösung gibt. Ich hoffe, dass hier jemand helfen kann.
