Does anyone else have this problem where a fresh install (3 times) has Synapse 4 starting minimised to the Taskbar?
Hovering with the cursor shows the desktop image, but no amount of keyboard combos or suggestions from the internet has made this window “enlarge”.
Without being able to see the full window I can’t go to the Settings etc. Is there a backdoor somewhere?

Yes! I don’t know if you’ve solved it by now but my solution is changing the resolution of your system, then spam-clicking the taskbar icon until the window opens. It’s very strange. Neither Chroma or Synapse open and I cannot maximise them or have them appear in window mode until I’ve changed the resolution.
