Synapse 4 and Razer Nari mute button

I had a razer Nari headset for 3 years now and the physical mute button (turns the tip of the mic Red) would also mute/unmute Microsoft Teams correctly. Now after the new Synapse 4, the headset turns the mic on/off, and Teams does not recognize this, it also messes with teams that the microphone doesn't exist as an input, which means when I unmute it doesn't recognize the mic right away.
This seems like a problem, was this intentional to make the mute button stop working as a mute button? I don't see a work around this within the app either
