Synapse 4 Chroma Laggy

I have several razer pheripherals. By defualt I have chroma set up so that a wave colour gradient from left to right goes across my devices. Since upgrading to Synapse 4, the way the wave travels is no longer smooth. I can visibly see the colours stepping from one shade to another as the gradient moves across the devices. The effect this produces is not nearly as pleasing as it looked when the gradient was smooth. I switched back to Synapse 3 and the problem is not there. Unfortunately it looks like the Wolverine v3 Pro isn’t compatible with Synapse 3 or I would stick with that. I don’t really understand how razer have managed to ruin this effect, but I’m wondering if anyone has the same experience or if we can expect a fix.

I also encountered this issue. Just can’t figure out why an official solution can hardly beat the open-sourced one.

You can use OpenRGB with KeyboardVisualizer that even works on Mac and Linux fluently.

Was just forced to update my software to Synapse 4 from Synapse 3.

I have a ripple effect that starts when “Any key is pressed” and it’s just fine on the Basilisk….however the Hunstman V3 now has a 30+ second delay before the lighting catches up. Sometimes taking longer than a minute so even register the lighting changes.

Loading synapse takes a full minute. Clicking anything in the screens takes a second to register. Chroma is even worse.

But the thing that really chaps my hide is how Synapse 4 has completely destroyed the functionality of my sensitivity clutch. It was the one and only reason I bought this mouse. It takes 5 full seconds to turn on and 5 more seconds to turn off after I release.

This is a feature I might be using all of 1 second or 2 at a time. So it's not only made worthless, but is actually becoming a hinderance.

Chroma is getting attention in beta right now. When I left full release a few days ago Synapse was good but chroma was slow. I believe it should all be sorted very quickly as I could not find much wrong as a whole in Chroma.  Clean some stuff up and check the performance on the way out.

It's been a journey but these guys got it. I appreciate all that has happened however rough it may have been

I'm playing nice for them in beta right now. I have much more to connect!

If they can get my system going like it was on the last beta version we should be good.
