Synapse 4 failing to update

I have Synapse 4 installed for my DeathAdder Elite mouse. When I tried to use the program today, an update began, but it got stuck at 0/235 KB, followed immediately by a notification that the installation failed. This is preventing me from using the program.

You're so lucky, mate—the update completely destroyed my mouse functionality.

Same problem here. Were you able to resolve it?

Same problem here. Everyday, a new problem with Razer peripherics. Both razer Chroma and Synapse doesnt even start because they dont update, and if they dont update, you cant go to any other screen.

That stuck 0/235 KB step is worth checking with a clean reinstall after fully closing Synapse and removing leftover update files. Try running the installer as administrator and temporarily checking whether antivirus or firewall settings are blocking the download. If it still fails, note the exact error message and your Windows version so support can narrow down whether it is an installer or network issue.

That stuck 0/235 KB step happened to me once too, and a full clean reinstall is what finally got it past the download stage for me. I uninstalled Synapse, cleared out the leftover Razer folders, then ran the fresh installer as admin. One reassurance for PandaPoi1022: the DeathAdder Elite keeps its last saved profile on the mouse itself, so it should still work at your usual DPI while Synapse is down.
