Synapse 4 is still a buggy mess

Beta name was removed, but beta quality was not. Give it more months to cook.

Since I try to use Synapse 4, it creates a lot of issues. very often happends the keyboard (Razer Laptop and external Razer keyboard) the keys are locked and triggers the keyinput a long time after the key was released. This issue is very problematic…. Last time while editing a word document it remove the whole long text….

 

Is an integration into the “Razer Central” planned? it makes no sense to have Synapse separate…

Looks like they didn’t even complete the renaming job.

That’s because they suddenly decided to remove the beta tag without removing the beta quality. My theory is that they did it because they didn’t want to add new devices to Synapse 3 and they didn’t want to have new devices in software with beta in its name.

Just bourght the Black Widow V4 Pro and noticed that once Synapse 4 takes over controll you cant use your command dial, makro keys, light customization, snap tap etc…

Is there a fix/workaround for?

btw for anyone reading this thinking about buying literally anything from razer. Don’t. Just Don’t.

Yeah, same problem here. Hardware was not cheap, software is pure evil. In latest update - double click is not working in my macros, synapse is not switching profiles according to linked games. I am thinking about returning all my hardware to Amazon because of the software issues ...

Honestley I give Razer like two more days to solve my issue, and even that is very generous, otherwise I’ll defintivley return my keyboard, and make sure to never buy there again or let anyone I know buy stuff from Razer again. It’s just not worth the hastle.
Razer might even be liable for false advertisment cause they’ve claimed certaint features that they did not deliver.

You’ll be lucky. Razer Support often impose a time limit of 48 hours on a customer’s response. After which they close your call. No such limit exists for them, there is no SLA for their response time.

They claimed to have identified the root cause of an issue I had experienced for several months but could not say when it would be fixed. I chased them for a further two months asking for details of the root cause. Eventually they said:

By the way, as part of the confidentiality and our processes, we cannot disclose specific root causes for the reported case concern.

Yep. I personally had problems with the THX Audio Game Profiles for my Kraken V3 Pro - several games didn’t have their Competitive and Immersive modes available. I send a feedback ticket to Razer, and they want me to give them the serial number, my name, address, etc etc, all things that have no bearing on the issue or their ability to fix it. Completely useless. I’ve rolled back to Synapse 3 in the meantime.
