I’ve been dealing with a Razer Synapse 4 issue affecting the Tartarus Pro for over a year now.
Functionality that worked reliably in Synapse 3 — especially 8-way directional input (diagonal movement) and simultaneous key combinations — is no longer usable in Synapse 4.
This is not a minor issue. It represents a clear functional regression.
The currently suggested workaround (switching to 4-way input) is not a viable solution, as it significantly limits the usability of the device to the point where it is no longer usable for its intended purpose.
At the same time, there is no option to return to Synapse 3, as it has been discontinued.
This issue has not only been observed by me, but has also been reported multiple times across the community.
At this stage, the question is no longer whether the issue exists — but:
Is this a known, unresolved problem —
or a deliberate change in functionality within Synapse 4?
Given the repeated community reports, a clear and transparent statement from Razer would be highly appreciated.
