[SYNAPSE 4] Profile Migration Now Available

I would like to know why the RGB immersive mode does not work in Synapse 4 for supported games such as Apex or Overwatch. In Synapse 3, I just had to start the game to have customization of the effects on all my Razer components. Things that don't happen on Synapse 4, why?

It is good that this is now available but it should have been there months ago and certainly when Synapse 4 left beta. Many folk will have gone through the pain of manually recreating their profiles already. I know I did after Razer Support pushed me into installing Synapse 4 because they were not going to fix longstanding bugs Synapse 3.

Can’t get Tartarus pro profiles to migrate.  Keep getting error.   Reinstalled synapse 3 and everything is there.   

I Tried the Synapse 3 Migration but my Mouse Macros from synapse 3 are still not working even when i import the Macros Manuell in Synapse 4

does still not work at all with a tartarus pro =( and now i have caps on button 11 and it is not possible to change it -.- synapse 4 is useless for me

Corrupted my profiles. Tried to go back to synapse 3 and macros wont work now. Try synapse 4 at your own risk. 

Any update on fixing corruption?

After Updating and doing the Migration of Profiles, Now it wont show anything for Razer Nari Tab, tried logging out and back in, Uninstalling and Reinstalling Synapse 4. Restarting system after each procedure an nothing.
I lost total control/access to customization of my headset.

Made a ticket at Razer but am not about to reinstall everything once more  - when will synapse receive its next update?

mine transfered but It it did multiple settings for the same game. BUT everytime I try and use it on ANY game it automaticly clicks to the “Default” setting.  I click out to reset it and it shows it is using the game I want it for. Click back into the game and it goes back to default.

Please you guys have to reply me I bought a gift card of 200$ Razor gold and I mistakenly scratched out the four last PIN numbers on the card

yea except synapse 4 crashes every time you try to change to a different profile.  

completely typical, as soon as synapse 3 is stable you junk it and force everyone to install a beta software that's junk. 

It looks nice, but I've only had issues with the profiles with Tartarus v2 since version 3. Version 4 gives me even more problems. I have to close all Razer applications and reopen them to see if it recognizes the profiles (whether I change them myself or I can do it manually). It gives me the list but won't let me change them. It also doesn't change the way it used to, when opening the executable would just change the profile.

Exporting profiles from 3 to 4 corrupted the profiles and duplicated others. In the end, the best solution to "repair" the profiles was to delete them all and recreate them, so I only have the problem with changing profiles.

I prefer to be able to go back to version 1 or 2.

The bad thing is that you can't sync automatically.

I don't quite understand why the export and import does t work between synapse 3 and synapse 4, but migrating works partly.. that sound like bad development to me. Why would one use different export/import files hisrachy between versions? That's the whole point of I port/export.

I can only import 1 setting of my list of around 20 light setups. The migration tool had about 7 and not all work as they should 

I can not understand why they make migration the first top priority. This app has been in development for about 2 years of I'm correct. Still big issues.

Why aren't those light profiles setting simply some kind of xml file or JSON file. Why is it binary file? If it was something like xml or JSON a user could even fix the issue between the two versions. 

Recreating the setups is nearly impossible. We can seem to be able to run the 2 apps side by side, since synapse 4 will delete synapse 3.

I feel this synapse 4 has made users quite mad and upset with razor. People put so much time and effort in their light setups.  Being able to migrate all of that should be priority
