I have a few macro keys set up with button combos that include the windows-key that, naturally, don’t work when the windows-key is disabled like it is when gaming mode is turned on, so I have made sure to keep gaming mode off even when I’m in game, but in spite of that the windows-key, and therefore the aforementioned macros still don’t work when I have a game loaded up. I’ve double checked that gaming mode is still disabled when I have a game running which it definitely is, I have Razer Synapse open on my second monitor and a game on my primary monitor and I see very clearly that gaming mode is off, both the toggle for the mode itself and the “Apply in-game only” box un-checked, but the windows-key and macros still don’t want to work when playing a game. Is there a way to fix this on my end or is it just a case of Razer having fucked up and I’ll have to pointlessly wait for them to do something about it?

Any and all help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Btw, I just wanted to add that I’ve confirmed that it’s not the button itself that’s messed up, it’s the actual function of it that doesn’t work, because if I enable the ripple-effect on the lighting, it does send out a ripple when I press the windows-key, so it clearly registers that I’m pressing the button, but it still doesn’t want to do anything and also if I rebind another key to have the windows-function, that button doesn’t do anything, either, like it’s definitely not the keyboard that’s broken, so it has to be something with the windows-key function that’s messed up and I can’t think of what that might be
