Uninstalling Synapse 3 does not uninstall GameManagerService

Apart from being insane bloatware, Razer doesn’t even uninstall its own software. Leaving sniffing software to keep tracking what I play feels very scammy.

Yeah I’ve noticed the same with Synapse. Even after uninstall, some services like GameManagerService or Chroma SDK keep running in the background. It’s annoying.

Best way I’ve found is:

  • Uninstall Synapse 3 normally

  • Then open Services.msc and disable the leftover Razer services

  • Or just delete them manually from Task Scheduler / Program Files

Not the cleanest, but it stops them from running. Hopefully Razer gives a proper cleanup tool one day.
