BUG: Basilisk V3 Pro buttons stop functioning when running Synapse

I recently purchased a Basilisk V3 Pro 30k and connected it to my MacBook Pro. I also just installed Synapse Preview for Mac. When Synapse is running, I’m able to successfully configure the RGB, so as far as I can tell, Synapse and my mac are able to communicate with my new mouse. However, when Synapse is running the following buttons do not work:

  • Sensitivity Clutch
  • Scroll Mode Toggle
  • Cycle Up Sensitivity Stages

When I say they “do not work”, I mean that clicking those three buttons has no affect. Additionally, tilting the scroll wheel left or right has no affect. When I try to remap the functions of any of those buttons, nothing happens. They continue to do nothing. The only buttons that work correctly are left/right click, scrolling, scroll click, mouse4, and mouse5.

However, if I quit Synapse, RGB lighting goes back to default and all the buttons work as expected, performing their default behavior. Additionally, tilting scroll wheel left or right performs horizontal scrolling as expected.

As an additional datapoint, I experience this behavior in wired, 2.4GHz and bluetooth connections.

Here is my setup:

Mouse

  • Razer Basilisk V3 Pro (Model No: RZ01-0462)
  • Razer Synapse Preview v. 4.0.86.2506030920

MacBook Pro

  • 14-inch Nov 2024
  • Apple M4 Pro
  • 48GB memory
  • macOS Sequoia 15.5

Hopefully, I’m just missing something and this is user error.
