Razer Synapse 4 notifications grant detection on MacOS

Hello,

I am writing to report an issue I am experiencing while trying to install and run Razer Synapse 4 on my Mac running macOS 26.

Problem Description: The installation appears to complete, but the application seems unable to recognize the necessary System Notification permission I have granted. This prevents Synapse 4 from functioning or displaying correctly.

Steps Taken (Troubleshooting): I have already attempted the following without success:

  1. Reinstalled Razer Synapse 4.

  2. Closed and reopened the application.

  3. Restarted my Mac.

Additional Information: I am including a screenshot that illustrates the issue (specifically showing the area where the system notification prompt/status is not being recognized by the app).

I would appreciate any guidance or confirmation if this is a known issue being addressed for macOS 26.

Hey I am also finding the same issue. I bought a new basilisk v3 X hyperspeed and when i tried to setup the mouse it just didn't work. Definitely would like to manage the mouse software.

Hi there! Same problem here. Cannot grant all system permissions, because notifications granted but not recognized by Synapse. It would be nice to have someone solve this issue.

I suspect that I am unable to see whether or not the Synapse 4 Preview for Mac needs updating, because I have the same problem as others have reported, namely that in spite of activating Synapse notifications on my M2 Mac Studio, the Preview software does not recognize that I have done so, which means that I have a red button with an exclamation mark where the download new software version should be.

Same issue in macOS 26.0.1, I am not sure if I can receive updata

I can confirm that I'm experiencing the same issue on macOS 26. Notifications should be enabled but are not being detected properly. I'm also awaiting a fix to hide Synapse from the dock.

As per Razer Support, updates to Preview Mac software are pushed automatically, so do not require the software button.

Recently my Mac Studio prompted me, via Razer notifications, to update the Razer Synapse software, and the notification fault is now history.
