I’m experiencing a few issues and would appreciate your assistance:
1. I’m having trouble setting up notifications on macOS—there seems to be limited support or unclear requirements.
2. I don’t see any settings available for controlling the Kraken V4 Pro headphones or Chroma RGB lighting.
3. Firmware updates appear to only be available as .exe files, which I can't run on macOS. Is there an alternative method for updating the firmware on a Mac?
4. I also use a Logitech Z553 speaker set near my workstation. With my previous headphones, I could plug the AUX cable into the hub and seamlessly switch between speakers and headphones. However, with the Kraken Pro V4, there’s no audio output from the speakers once the jack is connected. Is it possible to configure the Kraken Pro V4 to behave the same way—automatically switching between headphones and external speakers based on what's plugged in?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Thank you for adding support for macOS! However, none of my devices are supported. Could you please expand the devices that are compatible. I own a Mamba Wireless (RZ01-02710) and a Cynosa Chroma. I hope you can do this soon! really looking forward to being able to use my devices properly.

It's been a month since the last update. Are there no more updates? Should I just assume there are no plans to support other devices...?

I have Blackshark V2 Pro and Deathadder V2 Pro. For both, I can not see them in devices section.

I use the Blackshark V2 Pro in teams. When will there be support? At prices like these, I expect that.

Equipment:  Mouse Dock Pro and Naga V2 Pro.  Both are currently supported by Synapse.

Computer: M4 Max Mac Studio

Problem:  Computer will not stay in sleep mode while mouse is charging on the Dock.

Workaround:  Turn off wireless on underside of mouse when charging

Comment:  Not sure if this is a Mac issue or a Razer issue, but if turning off the wireless permits the computer to go to sleep, it would seem to me that the mouse should disable wireless whenever it is connected to the dock as part of the firmware, or at least in a setting somewhere.

Hello,

Since last Razer Synapse for Mac update, I can’t use any profile on my mouse while the software is open. But if I completely quit the app and use saved profiles it works well (except for advanced features that needs the software)

Same behaviour with dongle and bluetooth, as long as the app is open, nothing works.

My current workaround is to close the app and use saved profiles, but some advanced features are missing.

Is there a way to downgrade until this is fixed?

Thanks for you help, and thanks for making these amazing devices macOS compatible!

*** EDIT ***

Problem still happening, but I found another workaround: logout and use “Continue as guest”, then the default profile can be customized and works even if the app is open

*** EDIT ***

The “Guest” workaround does not work for long, after a restart the problem is back

Computer: MacBook Pro macOS Tahoe

Equipment: Basilisk V3 Pro

I’ve been not giving full disk access permission and Synapse is working greatly with my Basilisk V3 Pro. However, I gave full disk access permission yesterday and now my mouse fails to execute any customized actions. I doubt there’s an auto update that breaks things.

Please add Basilisk V3 HyperSpeed. I bought it for my MacBook without knowing it’s not supported on Mac.
Thank you for bringing Synapse to Apple finally!

Razer is being very slow at adding devices to the list for Mac.  I would expect SOME progress, however slow, but I’m not seeing any.   Have I missed any additions in the past two months?  Because I think the list has stayed the same.

Hello there, I use a Mac and I have the latest Razer Synapse for Mac. I'm unable to use any keyboard stroke mapped to any side buttons on my Razer Naga v2 Pro.

I can map an application, it will launch (yay), but keyboard strokes won't work in any application. Macros don't work as well. All permissions have been given, I rebooted a few times, uninstalled, rebooted again, erased any profiles on the mouse.

Has anyone been able to do this on their compatible mouse?

Yeah… so once you have everything mapped, you have to quit the Synapse application in order for it to work. I know it sounds strange but yea.

I installed this on my Mac Mini 15.3.2 I can’t get Synapse to see my mouse.

Basilisk V3

The issue seems to be Mac permissions though. Even though I’ve gone through installing and uninstalling and verifying that correct permissions are set, it doesn’t work.

SYSTEM PERMISSION NEEDED

Grant system permission to access the full …

I’m pretty sure that I’m doing the perms correctly. Any way to troubleshoot this?

the basilisk v3 mouse is still not supported on the software, and i have the same issue, once they allow the support then we will be able to see it come up. let me know if you managed to figure a workaround over these last few months, thanks.

PLEASSEEEE ADD SUPPORT FOR BASILISK V3 PLSPSLSPLSPLSLSLS

Synapse supports the Basilisk V3 Mobile, V3 35k, V3 Pro, and V3 Pro 35k.  The only Basilist they are currently not supporting is the V3 X Hyperspeed.   Which one do you have?

Hello,

i have Naga v2 Hyperspeed  and Naga Pro,

And i recently bought macbook pro m1pro with lastest IOS26.1 and with both mouses i got max 65hz polling rate i tried many 3th party softwares like Razer macOS. Is there any way i get 1000hz like i have on windows?

If not, i understand that Naga Pro v2 is suported for mac iOS version of Synapse 4, so i am considering to sell my Naga Pro and buy Pro v2, will i get 1000hz then ?

Kind Regards,

Antonio

Sounds like you might be using Bluetooth connection. The polling rate in Bluetooth is dictated by the host (i.e. your computer). The mouse or Synapse have no way of overriding that.

You should be able to get 1000Hz polling rate when using wired mode or the hyperspeed dongle. Reach out to the support team for troubleshooting if it doesn’t work.

Doublecheck your operating system.  Macbooks don’t run iOs, they run Mac OS.  Also, how were you able to determine the polling rate you got?

Hello,

thank you for your reply.

I was using original 2.4GHz USB thingy i got in the box with the mouse.

However i tried Naga Pro only using usb cable and still did not get 1000Hz. I realized i can get 120hz (wired or 2.4Hz connection) when my 2nd screen is not conected, somehow when i connect it it drops to 60hz max.

Is there any way to get 1000hz with those 2 mose i have now  Naga v2 Hyperspeed  and Naga Pro ?

If not will i 100% get 1000hz if i buy Naga Pro v2 ?

Thanks,

Antonio

The polling rate i got from this website: https://devicetests.com/mouse-rate-test

i was also using it on my windows 11 laptop with same mouses and got 1000hz.

I’d test it with some local polling rate app (if exists for macos). The problem with online mouse rate testers is that, they’re basing on a JavaScript, which performance varies between web-browsers.

I own a Basilisk V3 RZ01 0400, and fail to understand what the issue with adding support is. It seems to be a very popular mouse, and I don’t find it acceptable for Razor to make me upgrade, just to get Mac support.

vinesleekHalay805

so 7 months later you still didnt find the time to add the option to hide the app icon from dock (like literatly every other 3rd party app) and of course it has to be a round icon compared to every other icon that is in a macos dock and you didnt add any “older” mice. great job guys. Just worth every penny.

Can anybody tell, if there’s a chance for the Basilisk V3 26K (RZ01-0400) to be supported by the Mac Synapse app SOMEDAY? Got this for Christmas and would like to know, if I just need to be patient or if I should rather bring it back. Thank you.
