I've got a lot done not messing with reporting stuff. I just won't be going out of my way to buy into this to have a simple software. Nothing but headaches.

Just got my Tartarus v2 pro case closed right after responding. No explanation. Just 17 days to return.

It started with Tartarus v2 and ends with Tartarus v2 pro. How fitting.

Why does my PC not work with Synapse software?

The last couple of months has been great not using this software.

Because synapse doesn’t work properly in any pc, even razer’s.

That's only one of my PCs I have with them. The other two have just as many issues. Only with Synapse 4!

I spent A lot of effort making sure everything was compatible. I cannot recommend anything that ties you to this system.

Sure would like to have my haptics back. I fixed all my lighting in 3rd party software. Made my own keybind profile mapper. With per application switching. Guess it's about time to crack another one.

My Tartarus V2 stopped working again after this update. After the last time his happened I had to delete and redo all of my mappings. I am so annoyed it happened yet again.

Anyone else experiencing flickering lights after this new update?

  • Desinstalé y volví a instalar Razer Synapse 4 y Chroma.

  • Desinstalé y volví a instalar Windows 11.

Can you please fix the DUMPSTER FIRE that is Synapse 4 please. The October the 2nd update has broken yet again Chroma and when it crashes windows refuses to load other applications.

Don’t even bother telling me to contact support as that is also NEXT TO USELESS.

Hyperboost on the Razer Blade 14 is not working anymore since the last update. Razer Blade 18 is stuck when shutting down or restarting after the update and has power issues when connected to the thunderbolt 5 dock which leads to random shutdowns while gaming - seems like the laptop tries to charge of the dock even when connected with the standard power adapter.

Razer Tartarus V2 Pro no longer showing up in Synapse 4.  Window 11 detects hardware as when you unplug can hear USB chimes.  Completely dead after update.

Driver issue. Disconnect device go into Synapse devices and remove.

I finally got to use Tartarus v2 pro. I mainly play Apex Legends. A few things still need to happen in Synapse to make this work.

1. 8 way needs two key presses at once. This will work under modifier but it gives up extra keys with the current lack of options. This has been proven needed and working by other softwares.

2. Even with true 8 way capabilities this does not give enough diagonal control and needs the ablity to widen the diagonals still testing by how much.

3. As most games don't support true analog from keypresses. Even with hall effect keyboards. Wooting has a special sdk for certain games. I have built this for Tartarus thumbstick but have not tried yet. This will be something to look out for and implement for all analog output devices.

4. Dual zones. When the stck is pressed between 0-60% (as an example) this will produce the 4 or 8 way keybinds. When the stick is pressed beyond that it will add shift (or any key) to add "full speed".

The caps lock key lighting up after being pressed is annoying and needs an option to disable the feature as I can see it's use but I am an RGB fan and don't want some random white light showing. Stop with the workarounds like you do on everything and make this work.

I am still upset that I have to look for 3rd party apps for answers on what is an all Razer system. Why won't you add true manual mode on the Chroma Addressable RGB controller? I have Lian Li TL LCD fans. These do not create a load on the Chroma controller and often go undetected. Also missing 26 LED count fans for something that was supposed to be supported but is not. This auto detect also causes issues with the Lian Li strimmers that were to be supported. Why is it like this? Why am I having to use 3rd party software to make this work properly?

Thanks - as mentioned the Tartarus V2 Pro no longer showing up in Synapse 4 so no way to remove.

Seemingly after a computer restart, unplugging and plugging back in - the device was detected in Synapse 4 interface, but then immediately prompted for a firmware update - oddly enough was also released on October 14th.

After successful updating firmware 1.02, and profiles re-syncing...back in business.  Hope other find useful and good luck!

You did not look at the correct screen then. Also how are you going to complain when you didn't even check for firmware updates?

Synapse for Windows - V4.0.86.2610120714 / Chroma for Windows - V4.0.63.2610020954

IMMERSIVE UPDATE - SEE. HEAR. FEEL

Chroma has always been about making your setup yours. This update makes it even more immersive. Three new features are rolling out, each one taking something happening on your machine and translating it into your Chroma devices in real time. No configuring scenes for every game. It just responds.

SEE - Screen Sync

Extends what's on your screen out into your setup. Colors and motion from the game get mapped to your Chroma devices as they happen, so a muzzle flash, a health warning, or a sunset over the map plays out across your room instead of stopping at the bezel.

HEAR - Mood Analyzer

Reads the emotional tone of what you're listening to and translates it into lighting. Not a volume meter that pulses on the bass, but something that picks up on whether a track is calm, tense, or euphoric and lights your setup to match.

FEEL - Impact Engine

Turns in-game audio into haptics. Explosions, gunfire, engine rumble, and impacts come through as physical feedback, so you feel hits instead of only hearing them.

PHASED MACROS

Do more with a single key by having different actions based on its state: on press, while held, and on release.

NOTICE: END OF WINDOWS 10 SUPPORT FOR RAZER SYNAPSE 4

Following Microsoft's end of standard support for Windows 10 back on October 14, 2025, full support for Razer Synapse 4 on Windows 10 ends on October 14, 2026. As with Microsoft, this is a firm change: bug fixes and technical support for Synapse 4 on Windows 10 will not continue beyond this date.

From October 14, 2026 until October 12, 2027, any bug fixes released for Synapse 4 on Windows 10 will be limited to security updates only, mirroring Microsoft's own extended security updates for the platform. After October 12, 2027, Windows 10 support and compatibility will no longer be maintained for Synapse 4. Synapse 4 can still be used on Windows 10 and will still receive feature updates, but we cannot guarantee full functionality as we will no longer fix or address any bugs seen exclusively on Windows 10.

Moving forward, we recommend upgrading to Windows 11 to ensure the best possible experience. For more information on Microsoft's Windows 10 end of support and extended security updates, please visit Microsoft's official support page.
