Is it available in Malaysia?
I am a Thunderbolt device designer. I designed TBT devices for many famous brand in US market.
I just bought a new Razer Blade Stealth 13” (2020) | RZ09-0310. But I found it has TBT3 compatible issue.

  • I tested TItanRidge JHL7440 based devices. When reboot the windows and then the PortE (USB port) cannot work anymore. I have to unplug and replug cable to make it normal.
  • My Thunderbolt host driver is 1.41.873.

Just look at that beauty.
Hello I need some questions answered to with your New 2020 Stealth Laptop. I was wondering what exactly is meant by Nordic Layout and US layout. Is the Nordic layout AZERTY instead of QWERTY? Or does it mean something else.
I also have another question being wether you ship to the Canary Islands or not.
Would you notice a difference if you connected the Razer Core X to the Stealth 2020 or the 2019 model? More performance or should this not make a noticeable difference?

Depends what you’re doing, most gaming doesn’t need 100% cpu usage, if you’re using high cpu workload like cpu intensive game or work like rendering things you’ll get some advantage having 25 watt cpu on gtx 2020 model compared late 2019 gtx stealth. On most game you won’t notice though.
I thought so. I'm sure the advantage is only slight. Unless, of course, there's the Thunderbold replacement. Let's see what else there is in the future.
I can't imagine gaming on a 13 inch display. Anybody know what it's like playing on such a small screen?

It is nice to be able to game on every corner on your house or on the go without bringing 27 inch monitor around and also better than playing handheld on 6 inch Nintendo Switch screen:big_grin_: I rather playing indies title there rather than paying overpriced on indies/old games remake on Nintendo Switch.

I imagined that the screen was printed on the surface of the screen area because the bezels were so thin. lol
Is this GTX 1650ti the 35W version or the 40W version?
Last years model had shown us the cooling on this model especially the GPU can handle a more powerful GPU, hopefully the extra 15W on the CPU side doesn’t throw everything out of whack

There is no 40 watt version of 1650ti, maxq rated at 35 watt according notebookcheck and normal mobile one for huge laptops is from 50 to 80 watt according nvidia.
Depends on title it might be a hot cpu temperature if you push the hardware, so there’s balance mode to keep it on the “whack“:big_grin_:

Not true, actually according to notebookcheck it does

Yes you’re right I missed that higher clock 1200 - 1365, so if anyone provide gpu z screenshot/ HWinfo64 sensor from gpu stress test we will know which version it’s.
What does it look like, who has the device? What is the gaming situation here? CoD MW or Battlefield? What kind of frames are possible? Who has a comparison with the 1650 from the 13" and the 1660 from the 15"? I would be really interested.

From Notebookreview review unit it’s lower 35 watt it’s a bit blurry gpuz screenshot but boost frequency is 1200mhz.

Some has already accepted their 4K unit but 120Hz apparently comes first end of May. Review above got review unit from Razer.
Gaming situation is probably a bit better than last model, so anyone who has it I challenge your 25 watt with mine late 2019 25 watt synthetic benchmark:)

What are your GPU clocks on your 2019 Blade?
Can you post. GPU Z screenshot to compare.

Base 1020 with boost 1245mhz, typicall 35 watt nvidia specs though i see often when running games gpu usage @high 90ish% a 1500ish even spike to 1620mhz, It’s default no bios moding nor gpu overclocking unlike the score above.
I’m at work I’ll show you later the screenshot.

Stop it man you’re making me like this thing again. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_: It’s kinda scary to think the stealth is probably close to the Blade 14 in power and in such a smaller package. Wonder if they’ll ever give these things the vapor chamber like the larger models?

Moving from stealth late 2016 to this after 2 years usage I noticed the weight difference even maybe around 100gr. There’re some downgrade from previous model I had actually like per key rgb, touch screen higher resolution and the super thin cassis that looks like MacBook Air with a lot better features and ports. Those features especially keyboard and cassis is probably trade off for having almost 10 times better gpu, if someone counts intel gpu as gpu:big_grin_:, adding vapor chamber would make better cooling but on default setting it’s already cool enough to cover cpu and nvidia dgpu, and extra weight that comes with on an ultrabook I would personally avoid it.
Now I’m curious though if 2020 models can maintain cool temperatures since the cpu now runs with 25 watt.

I guess since I normally stick with larger laptops I’ve never noticed the weight. And I do agree the lack of per key rgb seems like an odd downgrade. They’re definitely pinching pennies for some reason. And the 1440p screen was a nice resolution at the size. Not gonna lie though the ports don’t bother me so much as I’ve collected a few over the years. But it would suck to go some where and realize you forgot your dongles. :confused_: With how quickly they keep updating it that seems like the next logical upgrade to the cooling. With the vapor chamber they could probably go 1660. But that would start eating at the low end 15” blade so I see why they don’t do that yet. o_O It would be nice to have dedicated HDMI and display port. But In a few years all we’ll have is usb c. :eek_:
I struggled with deciding on what to get last year. I was torn between the the Blade 15 and the stealth. Ultimately I went with the stealth for portability and functionality at work.

When I get home I plug it into my Core X chroma with a RTX 2080 Ti and it’s off to gaming I go. It’s been a fantastic upgrade to my previous desktop rig and far more functional. The one thing I wish it had though was a better native screen and graphics card. There have been times I have had the opportunity to game while waiting for my next flight and really couldn’t.

This new stealth looks like it would stomp that complaint out of existence! Looking forward to what they come up with when I’m ready to upgrade again in another year or two.

Am I the only person who cant imagine gaming with a 13.3 inch screen? I mean I know the portability is awesome but you cant play games for an extended period of time on such a small display.

Well, there are heaps of mobile games, even FPS and racing mobile games. So I could see how one could get used to a 13.3" laptop screen.
