The GPU's 16GB DDR6 VRAM is simply insane! I can see a lot of 3D professionals getting this laptop for this alone

Blade 17 benchmarks out, quite promising. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmRTUKNKVac

What is expected battery life of top-of-the-line Razer Blade 17 with i9 and RTX 3080 ti? Also, what is TGP of RTX 3080 ti in the RB 17?

According to https://techno-senior.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Spec-Table-Blade-17-Early-2022.pdf, it looks like 165W GPUs across the RB 17 line for '22.

why does the current YouTube review show 110-130w tho?

Razer Blade 17 with the best performance than blade 14 and 15?

Agreed it is confusing. Hopefully Razer will make a more public statement on the GPU W.

Question about the display on the 4K 17” — it says on the website that it’s a 4K anti glare matte display, but in the downloadable spec sheet it doesn’t say matte, and it’s touch screen. Which is it? I’m hoping it’s a glass display that’s not matted like my 2020 version. I put in a preorder and I want to sell my current one and upgrade.

Man... Tempting but that price especially for the 3080ti model is just eye watering

Doesn't anyone think "pros" would be super glad to have higher displays? Why still stick to 16x9?
Razer has a creator line, or at least they do sometimes. I think that line would be better suited for 16:10. I prefer 16x9 for my gaming screens.

Battery life depends a lot of things, like screen specs, what you’re doing, software (drivers) optimisation so since there’s no detail reviews like from notebookcheck yet we don’t know yet. On press release specs sheet it’s 165 watt (probably with dynamic boost).

Don’t put 100% your trust on [S]Internet[/S] YouTube. There’s a reason with 280Watt AC Adapter, previous pro 17 3080/70 was up to 130 watt tgp and enough powered by 230 watt AC Adapter.

Bigger cassis bigger cooling room, translates better performance.

Torn between a new Blade 17 or building a new rig...Either way, pricing is still absurd :(

Wait what.. the 1080p 3080ti is only 8gig vram? But the qhd is 16gig vram? And there same price is this an error on the website? Razer tighten ur shiet up!

Not gonna lie if I could’ve held off long enough I could have seen myself using this for my streaming pc. Even still it’s tempting. The 280 watt power brick and more speakers is a very nice touch. Plus being able to have the QHD panel instead of the 4K panel with the 3080ti is a much better match I think.
