Core X and 3 monitors

Hi guys I'm trying to work something out. I ha e anew 17 Razer I bought a few months ago and have a main gaming monitor. I want to add to basic smaller montiors to my rig. Now can I get a core X and put a basic gpu in it to power these montiors and still use the gpu on the laptop for the main one? I do intend to get a top on the range gpu for the core eventually but funds don't allow that at the moment. Need some help and advise
