So I just got my Razer Blade 15 RTX 2060 model today. I love it, however, I’m curious about gaming and FPS. Playing WoW on ultra 1080p, I’m barely getting 40 FPS, and Destiny 2, barely 50. I have GeForce experience, gaming performance on synapse. Just curious based on this version or past versions, what I can do. Thanks!

Hey, I'm new to Razer. I just picked up a 512 Razer Blade Stealth in Canada and I'm currently on my 5th replacement. I'm curious to know if anyone else is experiencing these issues. replacement #1: Loose screws replacement #2: Screen wasn't properly fixed to aluminum, creaked every time I touched it. Issue #3: Stuck space bar.. Very mushy had no travel compared to previous models I had Issue #4: trackpad really loud compared to previous models, also recessed trackpad.. Loose and creaky construction. Squeaks everytime I touch the back. Is it just me and/or my luck or does this happen to anyone else? Someone told me to watch out for Razer when it comes to quality control but I went ahead and got it anyways. I wanna know if this is isolated or not before my 30 days are up. Hi, So I have a Razer Blade 15 Advanced (v1) with the GTX 1060, 144Hz. I just bought an extra power supply for it. I got the 230W power adapter and not the 200W because around June I'm gonna upgrade to the 15 Advanced RTX 2080. is this going to be a problem using the 230W on my current Blade or am I ok? Ive got the issue here Im from switzerland. The US Razer Store lists the Blade 13 base for 1399$, in the german store its listed 1499 Euro. Now, my currency CHF to Dollar is almost the same. CHF to Euro on the other hand is much diffrent, so for 1499 Euro i pay 1700 CHF. THis means also 1700$, for that price theres the base model of the Blade 15 already overtopped. I and even with us import i wont get my country Keyboard Layout. Will there even be a Switzerland Keyboard Layout version?

Hi all, I have a stealth v1 and v1 core (w/ 1080 TI) and it's still works great. However the SSD is full (thanks mostly to Gears of War 4) and I was looking into upgrading the SSD to a larger capacity. Since the v1 stealth is out of warranty anyway I figure it's probably time to think of doing it. Just curious what kind of battery life is considered normal for running a DAW. I understand there are a lot of variables but what do you get?

So I have this weird sound coming from the keyboard of my new laptop. At first I thought it was the fans, but they sound like pure white noise from the vents on the bottom. During benchmarks, no weird noise. Only when I start FLstudio and load a project and play it do I get this weird like tiny helicopter/high-speed cat purr sound from the keyboard. If I switch between Primary Sound Driver, Focusrite ASIO, and FLStudio ASIO they all give me a differently pitched version of this weird sound. What could possibly be doing this??? Whether or not I use the external or internal sound cards it does it, but only while FLStudio is making use of the ASIO drivers. So I've owned my late 2016 blade for over 2 years now. I really never played games with it as much as I intended to since I have an SLI desktop rig as well as my Xbox X which I use primarily (tbh). I don't think I've run a single game on my blade in at least over a year until the past month. So I've been trying to play fortnite. My 6700hq gtx1060 blade is outputting an extremely disappointing FPS. It really only becomes playable at medium settings. The game runs extremely inconsistently. Sometimes I get 30-50fps avg on epic settings. I could never ever complete a play session at epic settings without a dip under 45fps. Yes I am playing in 1080p. I have tried everything including fresh install of fortnite, checking battery settings, making sure the game is running on the 1060, uninstall/reinstall of geforce experience, Razer bios update, windows updates, with/without razer cortex. Every single possible obvious settings check for nvidia control panel, windows, etc. haven't tried with

As I own a Blade Stealth + Core for more than a year now, there are some points that I would really want to see in a feature device and some that are already really great. So I just thought I leave another wishlist here (although I will keep my Blade Stealth for many many more years), as a feedback. My usecases: - light gaming on the go (League of Legends mostly), currently not really possible for me, because the Stealth got no integrated graphics - heavy and light gaming stationary, works perfectly fine - graphics heavy software like Blender - studying, programming for my studies Wishlist: - graphics card in Blade Stealth (already available with New Blade Stealth, thx Razer :) ) - 2in1 convertible with pen digitizer, especially for Blade Stealth. Hey ya'll I'm gonna try to keep this short and sweet. Thinking about getting the newest Razer blade 15 ( the ones that got BOTH HDD and SSD - its gonna drop in about a week or so) Specs are almost a carbon copy of the current blade 15's. I wanted to ask if anyone who has a current 15 could drop a review about it? Pros/cons. Battery life and performance? Is Razers customer support REALLY trash?? Does it really not charge if the computer is already turned off? Any charging brick issues?

Long story short, I had purchased then returned the 15" Razer last summer. There was much I liked, some that I tolerated, and a few bits that I didn't like. Hey guys, with Boxing Day around the corner, I'm planning on upgrading whatever docks and cabling I need to ensure I am getting max refresh rates and speed. Here's my gear: - Alienware 34 Curved Gaming Monitor: AW3418DW (DP1.2, HDMI1.4, WQHD (3440 x 1440) @ 120Hz (overclocked)) - 2017 Razer Blade (1060/4K) I am planning on purchasing the Satechi Aluminum Multi-Port Adapter with this USB-C to DisplayPort cable. Is this the best combination for pumping the best possible speed through the monitor? Re the dock, I'm hoping I don't need to splurge on something like this from OWC!

Aside from the premium cost, is there value with the 4k display? What I mean, is there any benefit to have a 4k display in a 15" form factor? The FHD display consumes less power, and presumably is cooler. it runs at 144Hz and is matte. The 4k display offers a higher resolution and more screen real estate, touch screen. Scaling in windows, its not the best at times, so how pronounced is the issues? In all likelihood you'll have to play games at FHD resolution anyways. Since I don't have a 4k display, will non-games offer a lot of screen real estate if you have to bump up the scaling to 200%? I'm thinking excel is a good example.

I recently installed Fedora 29 on my RBS 2017. This worked just fine. I was able to use an external SD Card to boot using their linux live iso. No issues once I tweaked a few Bios settings. Now I want to go back to Windows 10 and have created a USB (using the same setup) and it wont even recognize the SD card anymore. Not sure what setting I have jacked up in the BIOS but after resetting to defaults, I still cant get a single USB to show up as anything but generic UEFI device. Once I select it it just returns immediately to the boot menu. I think I have just messed up something with the BIOS config but I think I have tried every combination at this point of set up. I have already tried the following: USB Legacy Enabled, Secure Boot Off CSM Enabled with UEFI on for all Policies CSM Enabled with Legacy for all Policies CSM Disabled I am at a point where I am thinking I just need to pull the battery out and try to manually reset the bios. I am trying my best to hold out for the new line of RTX laptops to be released by all of the major gaming pc manufacturers so that I can compare specs and prices. However, I also need to be productive and not having a portable powerhouse is really killing my productivity. I almost spent $4429 today on an ASUS G703 with these specs: i9 processor 8950 1080 8gb 64gb ram 3x1tb samsung evo ssd 2tb sshd 4k gsync screen I need a laptop ASAP and had assumed the RTX lappys would be available right after CES. Not one available online yet. I checked the ASUS website and it mentioned a RTX 2080 version of the same lappy so I canceled my order. I play a lot of FPS games so possibly will benefit from holding off in favor of an RTX laptop. My question for you guys is: with a budget of 5 racks, should I go for the Asus G703 with the 1080, hold out for a Asus G703 with 2080 graphics.... Or different brand? MSI? Alienware? Any news of an updated Blade Pro (possibly one with an i9)? SOS.

So i just got my laptop like a week ago. and it makes this weird mechanical ticking noise, I wanted to know if it was normal or what could cause this. Anyone has this issue ? It makes the noise when i barely touch the laptop, or move it around I moved it like that in the video bcz i only had 1 hand. even now typing this it makes that sound lol

Could somebody please specify a specific release date for this year's 4K Blade 15 in the UK because i have been waiting for it and, although Razer said July on their website, the month is almost up and there is no sign of change or release. Pls reply if you know more than I do because it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
