What are your thoughts on this newly released cpu? can this chip beat 3950x? i think yes bcs of cooling. lol! wby?

    It's great but the 10700k is the best overall. Almost identical performance and $100 cheaper. The 3950X is far behind for gaming and costs way more.

    But in AMD you don't have to change your motherboard every 2 generations as Intel :P

    True, but it's the same as AMD right now, since you'll only get 1 more generation with them.:smile_: So if you buy a new system now you'll get the 10th/11th gen with Intel or 3000/4000 with AMD. I think that's right...
