Razerblade 2018 to core x or to desktop?

I have been running a Razerblade advanced 15 from 2018 and its been pretty good for the games I play but its coming time for an upgrade. I always thought about getting the core x to give the graphics a boost and now that the nvidia RTX 3x are coming down in price i think it might be the right time for this. To give you a better picture i have already maxed out the ram and have a rack of SSD disks for additional storage. Battery died out twice so i gave up using it mobile What do you think get the Core X and card or upgrade to a desktop system? What graphics card would be a good bang for buck at the moment? RTX 3600?
