Screen brightness/definition

Hi, i have a razer blade 15 advanced model purchased this year. I would like to increase the brightness or definition of the screen more than it is allowded by windows itself, if it is possible. What i mean is that if i compare my screen with a MS surface laptop's or macbook pro's screen i notice a huge difference. I am not a pro, and i have a doubt if i just need to change a specific setting. thanks!

Windows limits the display based off of what the manufacturer of the panel permits based off of information contained in the driver and spec. I don't think there's a way to increase the brightness beyond maxium, if you did, it'd undoubtedly burn out the panel. 300 - 400 nits is pretty stinking bright already, you're going to get a sun tan if you go any brighter hahaha!

thanks for your answer! In fact i am surprised about all this because the panel should be enough bright itself. Is there a way to check if the brightness is at maximum?

In windows hold down the Windows key and press the I key, it'll bring up the Windows settings panel. Then go into the "System" tab. The top option will be "Display", on the right hand side you'll be able to see the brightness slider and adjust it from there.
