No so expensive only for 2999,99 bucks;)

Source: GizmoSlip Tech, his prediction was right last month concerning January announcement RTX Laptops.

ohhh myy gooodnesssss x_x. i'm doubting if i'll ever have one now....

How about upgrading the blade 15 I bought half a year ago. Is that technically possible? I mean exchanging my gtx 1070 with an rtx 20 series in my old laptop.

If you already aimed this, 2070 is no brain, bigger vram is important for nowadays games.

2070 is a no brainer but my budget just got destroyed.
Going from $2000 to $2650...

I see. You can save $150 by getting $2400, 256gb one an get 970Evo 512GB for $100 and install it your self, of course you’ll need to wait till drivers uploaded online. Or if don’t want so complicated just get 2060 one, desktop 2060 performs around 1070ti so with down clocked mobile version maybe between 1070 and 1070ti desktop performance, still good enough for 144hz 1080p, better than last 1070maxq for sure and get other new features compared to previous generation.

I still do not understand why they did not update the cpu, while it seems that the competition (e.g. aero 15 X9 Y9) did.

more interestingly I am reading that they have shown a 4K OLED prototype variant. That's actually something that might be worth waiting. That's definitely a game changer if it is true.

Where is the razer blade pro 2019? These are cheap though.

I have been doing that math in my head. The problem is, I dig the mercury option. It’s only available $2350 for RTX2060 or $2650 for RTX2070

I want it but with Ryzen, Razer please !

Why? AMD doesn't have anything to offer for high end in mobile. Unless you would like a full desktop CPU crammed in it, which would kill battery performance, would generate a lot of heat & require a huge power brick.

My 2017 Blade is definitely getting an upgrade! Wish I could preorder!

I'll just keep the laptop I bought with a GTX 1060 6GB that cost me $1050. I prefer 1080p over 4K, so this would be overall on both price and visual specs.

1060 laptop still fine for FHD games, no need to buy a Blade if it full fills your need. 1060 isn’t enough for me because I play 1440p, 1070 Blade is still fine for that so maybe i keep my Blade 15 that cost me €2300;)

I wouldn’t mind buying the blade. But it’s RGB and other elements jack up the price for a reason. It’s cool stuff but then again, buying it used I’m not sure that’s a good idea

Anyone an idea on this? Or is the gpu soldered to the motherboard?

According to this nvidia mentioned performance bump on mobile gpu is 20% (there’s possible lower), and note that you’ll have also to face some possibility issues with new architecture on a laptop, it’s not only advantages.

DGPU is soldered but you can use egpu for upgrading to Rtx not full performance like on direct mobo but on some cases it out performs 1070 maxq. I play since BFV dxr Update already RT on my Blade, it’s on;)

Looks very cool
