Hey all,
will be getting my first razerblade laptop this Christmas, in particular the razerblade 15 base model with gtx2060.
I can see that it’s possible to upgrade the ram but is it possible to upgrade the gpu?

Almost rare case to upgrade the GPU, unless the laptop comes with a mobile PCI-express module
Because most GPUs on laptops are soldered onto the motherboard. so find out with RAZER if Blade 15 comes with an an integrated or dedicated GPU.
Otherwise you can think about external GPU enclosure, Check out RAZER Core.
But you'll need the followings to use RAZER Core
* Thunderbolt 3 connectivity (between RAZER Core and laptop)
* GPU card

Ok thanks I will check it out but great tip to think about with the external gpu for the future. hoping to get a good 4/5 years out of my 2060 on medium to high settings for now though.
In 4 to 5 years you will likely want to replace the entire laptop, not just the graphics card. There's a reason the warranty is only 1 year.
