Nari Ultimate - SideTone volume relative to headset volume

Just getting acclimated to this new set of Nari's - very enamored so far. However, and I'm not sure if this is a Nari issue or synapse 3 issue, having a hard time finding balance b/w the mic sideTone/monitor function and other windows sounds. Given that they are over ear, being able to hear yourself speak is important, and though sideTone is enabled at max volume, i can't make out my own voice at all. Anyone have similar experiences, or have suggestions?

Eh, it kinda seems to depend on the application I'm using and tweaking app's sensitivity levels. Ultimately, it's just that the mic, no matter what I do in Synapse settings, picks up the audio from the headset even at reasonable volumes. This seems to be exacerbated when I speak and especially so when haptics are enabled. Steam voice chat seems to be the worst, though I've got them working well in Discord and some other work related voice apps.
