Razer Kaira Pro Firmware Update Problem

Yes, I have the same problem as you. I wish Razer could have made it clear you had to have a windows computer to update the headset when it specifically states designed for xbox. I wouldn't have bought it if I had know this.

I'm having the same issue. I saw in another thread that Razer support recommended downloading the Razer app to my Xbox, which I did, but that just directs me back to the same website for the Windows installer.

Same issue. I have a Mac and a PC that is owned by my employer no admin privilege's. Saw the same post that says in the app no dice.

I was able to find a workaround, but it's still annoying. This will only work if you're running an Intel-based Mac – it will NOT work on an M1 Mac because Boot Camp doesn't exist for them. 1. Download the Windows 10 Disc Image here. Don't worry, you do NOT need a Windows license. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO 2. Open Boot Camp Assistant on your Mac. This should begin walking you through installing a Windows partition on your Mac. You will need to select the size you want for the Windows partition – you won't be able to change this later & you'll never be able to get this space back for macOS unless you entirely delete the Windows partition. I chose the smallest size which was 42 GB. This will take some time, but it will install Windows on your Mac and boot you into Windows automatically. You'll need to go through the various Windows setup flows. After install is complete, you should be able to go to the URL for the Firmware Updater and update your headphones. I also tried running Windows 10 in Parallels on my Mac, which would be easier, but that didn't work. Windows didn't seem to detect my headphones being plugged in despite numerous different attempts.

- Thanks for the tip I knew this was an option there has to be something less cumbersome though. Its 2021 come on Razer team. Cant hurt to throw it in here. Thanks.
