Razer Blade 17 - Disabled Optimus and screen remains black when trying to wake laptop

Just received my Razer Blade 17 and installed the latest RTX 3070 driver. If I disable Optimus, the screen remains black when I try and wake up the laptop (only the screen is set to sleep). It works fine when I remove the driver and rely on the one that comes with Windows 10 but performance suffers. Anyone else had this?

    Did you try updating its BIOS firmware? If you haven't, please send me a PM including its serial number so I can verify its details and check its available updates. I'll be locking this thread to curb our conversation privately.
