Synapse 3 startup disconnects monitor

Whenever Synapse 3 boots up on my computers startup, my monitor disconnects and says there is no signal. It sometimes comes back on, but frequently I need to unplug and replug the HDMI cable. I have confirmed it is Synapse 3 app causing it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program with no change to the issue. I have also made sure the program is set to startup in tray but it still boots up on my screen. This happens on both my Samsung Q6FN and a Vizio M-series TV plugged in HDMI to a GTX 1080 card
