Can anyone please help me understand the difference between the following - NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2070 with Max-Q (8GB GDDR6 VRAM) NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2080 SUPER™ with Max-Q (8GB GDDR6 VRAM) NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2070 SUPER™ with Max-Q (8GB GDDR6 VRAM) What does Max-Q mean? Also, any real performance stats (like flops, ghz etc.) would help me understand the power of these cards. I don't intend to use the laptop for Gaming, but rather for Photoshop, Premiere and Deep Learning.

    Maxq means lower tdp GPUs on Nvidia graphics card, not quite sure about flops ghz etc numbers but you can check it on notebookcheck.com it should be a detailed specs, well basically super is better (newer version) basically RTX 2080 super maxq > 2070 super maxq > 2070 maxq.

    On the first level, the key differences between the 3 graphics card models you mentioned have differing levels of performance. Max-Q are the 'super-lite' versions of the respective desktop graphics cards, designed to enable slimmer, thinner, and lighter laptop designs. They are heavily optimized for efficiency while keeping your laptop running cool (i.e. less powerful as the full mobile or desktop equivalent). The Max-Q cards may have differing TDP limits depending on the manufacturer's specifications and requirements. For an overview of the performance levels, I have a filtered table for your reference.
