Kraken TE (tournament edition) THX spatial audio short function time

so i purchased the razer kraken tournament edition a few weeks back and since day one i've been having issues with them. i have multiple razer products including other headsets and this is the first time I've had this issue. when i plug in the headset and set the default audio and whatnot I'm lucky if i get 30 seconds to a minute of sound before it gets scratchy and cuts out like static on old tvs. I've tried reinstalling all the drivers as well as synapse and all thats happened is now some of my other razer items ,like my deathadder mouse, are having faulty connections and randomly not working at all. not sure whats going on or why the thx controller is not doing anything but if i could get some help figuring it out id really appreciate it.
