Cynosa Chroma UK keyboard symbols not working

As the title says, I've just got a UK layout keyboard, but I am getting the US symbols @/# on Shift-2/3 rather than the expected "/£ symbols. Same goes for the backslash button, etc. I'm running a newly reinstalled and updated Windows 10 system, and all of the region settings are UK. English (United Kingdom) is the default display language, though United States keeps reappearing after I delete it, not that it makes any difference. Any help much appreciated!

    You'll also want to set the keyboard layout as English UK. Go to keyboard layout settings and manually add it to make sure it sticks then set it as default.
