Razer Core X Chroma (Thunderbolt device functionality might be limited)

I recently got the Razer Core x Chroma eGPU and while connecting it I get a pop up notification “Thunderbolt device functionality might be limited”. I am trying to connect it to my ASUS TUF GAMING F17 FX706HCB laptop and so far nothing is happening. The fans don’t spin and no lights turn on. The graphics card that I am using with the core x chroma is the Zotac Geforce RTX 3060 Twinedge. Also my laptop has a thunderbolt 4 port but I am running a thunderbolt 3 cable to connect to the eGPU. I am fairly new to this so any help is appreciated!

The same issue applies to me.

I got an OMEN 16” (Ryzen 9) laptop and when I plug my Razer Core X, I get the same message and nothing happens. The eGPU just does not work. I have Windows 11 Home.
