Hello folks,
Since I haven't found a program lately, which gives me an ambient effect on my Razer Ornate Chroma, I simply wrote a program myself.

Isn't there already a software of the same name, Ambilight? Or was it Amblight?

Predator5Its called Razer Ambilight. It already exist. Ambilight is lighting say behind like a screen that changes colors depending on what is on the screen, so I guess it looks like its coming to get you. I wouldn't know I'm still rocking the Blackwidow ultimate 2016 edition green green and more green. It might be op in a grass simulator though

Predator5Yeah, I think he might have made this because the Ornata is not supported with that other program (at least it is not for me), it seems like that program is abandoned now.

Is there already such a program? Oops, my mistake, I probably didn't find it when I was looking for it ^^. As for the installer, I forgot to set it to English. Just download it again, and it should be in English now.

I would like to know how to use this software.
80578037Just download the installer "RazerAmbilightSetup.msi" from here, install it and you should be able to run the program from the corresponding desktop icon. Make sure, you have Razer Synapse open and chroma apps enabled.

Nicely Done. For a minute there it appeared to be working on my all my other gear too, but then they dropped back to my default settings. :(

Thank you!! I just got an Ornata Chroma myself (and loving it) and this ambilight effect on the keyboard is awesome! It's pretty impressive while watching videos or gaming :D

In fact, your software copy all the screen, but it should be the extension of the screen, just the down of the screen must be copied to get a full ambilight effect

LewikyFRIn theory, you're right. If you take it exactly the term Ambilight is not suitable for my program. However, the effect is what I wanted it to be. If you like I could try to implement a real Ambilight mode. ^^

Added the ability to change the color saturation with a slider. Just install the new version from here and the option can be found by right-clicking the notification tray icon. ^^

Real Ambilight would be soooo lovely! I didn't test it with my HDK yet, but i'll try. Would be nice, if it works with your program too.

Ohkie. I didn't test it with HDK yet. But I have some Hue Lamps. I can connect them via razer synapse, yeah we all knew that! But, there is a hue app too, which can synchronize with the razer gear and guess what. It works with your ambilight program! Thats so awesome! ♥
I'm glad you like my program. ^^ With the HDK the program will probably not work. I can't test it because I don't have HDK. I have not thought, however, that the Hue lamps would work. But I also do not have any of them to try it out by myself. But apparently it still works without a problem ^^.
Yeah, I tested some things. HDK won't work. But in theory the hue lightstrips might work, cuz' the lamps work.
And it's a bit complicated to make it work all together! Anyone who want this synchronized with hue lamps and don't know how, you can just ask me!
I'm not a programer, but is it possible to get this on the razer naga and razer firefly mousepad? Don't feel forced to do so, when it's tooooo complicated.
