- Anything obvious I'm overlooking here? The first headset died similarly, except the dongle recovery tool stopped detecting the device entirely and wouldn't work anymore. I frequently (daily-ish) swap between my personal computer (evening) and my work computer (daytime).
- Is buying a replacement dongle likely to resolve the problem?
- Any chance I can get a discount on a replacement headset? As I said, I really, really like this headset from a comfort and usability perspective but can't help but feeling kind of ripped off since the longevity of these leaves something to be desired.
Razer Nari Ultimate seems to be dying
This is my second Nari Ultimate, after a warranty replacement. I bought the first one in June 2019 and replaced in December 2019. The support at the time was great, but it's now out of warranty and I can't figure out how to talk to an actual Razer person about it.
I really, really like this headset, but I'm afraid it's dying. I now have to run the NariDongleRecoveryTool_v1.02.00.exe about half the time I disconnect and reconnect the dongle and I have to run the RazerNariUltimatePairingUtility_v1.01.00.exe every time, and it's increasingly taking more and more attempts before it successfully re-flashes the firmware (not sure why it wants to do this every time) and establishes pairing/communication. This is presumably not normal.
So I have a few questions:
