Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro - Unable to Customize Command Dial After Latest Synapse 3 Update

Hi everyone,

Since updating to the latest version of Razer Synapse 3, I’ve been unable to customize my command dial. It no longer allows me to modify the actions when I scroll the dial, and clicking “Disabled” doesn’t bring up any options. I’ve tried performing a clean uninstallation, deleting all Razer folders and data, but nothing has worked. Interestingly, the command dial works fine in the new Synapse, just not in Synapse 3. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!

I have the exact same issue, it used to be able to customize but now i cant do anything and when the computer goes to sleep it brings back old dials that i deleted or disabled. I wonderr if this requires customer support

I think the issue lies in the latest version of Synapse. They should push a new update out, and hope it resolves the issue….

Same. I hope they fix this soon. It’s the main reason I got the keyboard

Hey guys, I finally got the solution to this problem!
You just have to download the new "Razer Synapse Beta" and from now on it will let you configure the dial of the BlackWidow v4 Pro

Really? They make a keyboard, promo it as with command dial… and don’t even have proper drivers fot it?

It was released 1.5 years ago...

Haven't been able to fix the flagship function for over a year…
The hardware is great, the software sucks. Old truth about Razer. This is probably the last device from them (Blackwidow 4 pro / Basilisk Ultimate).

I figured this out too, it’s been working great till recently the entire dial stopped working, it only does default and clicking it does nothing as well as manually selection mode...

Just bought this keyboard for the command wheel, and it can’t even be used?? What is this? Why are there no updates for this in months?

Just bought this yesterday and same issues. I did install their synapse 4 but it completely borked my razer cobra pro mouse. It had massive lag and stuttering. Also, the chroma effects from version 3 to 4 are no longer compatible just live version 2 to 3.

Synapse 4 should be called alpha version while Synapse 3 should be beta version. They both do not perform very well. I am looking for a change of my peripherals as well. I have 10 friggin peripherals too… smh. Cmon Razer!

I created a ticket with Razer on this issue and they closed the ticket with no resolution after 2 weeks and 3 escalations.

WOW! Great hardware but poor software development and support.

IslandFrog_Epstein

Just bought it and found the dial customization not working. At first I thought it might be something wrong with my MB USB or the Windows OS. Now I see everybody with the same issue, so its Razer’s problem. They should fix it.

The same problem I bought yesterday and I liked it because of that work, we should all open tickets to support all together to request this.

To make sure all devices are working, you should have the new Razer Synapse 4 beta and the new Razer Chroma app that has been separated out of Synapse. I'll be closing the thread for further replies. If you have anymore questions, feel free to reach out to me or Razer support members. You can also reach out to other Vanguards as well. Anyway, hope everyone gets their problem solved!

THIS IS BROKEN AND DOES NOT WORK

Stop closing threads and tickets without a resolution and fix the bug!
