Razer phone touch screen frustration

I recently removed my screen protector on my razer phone 1. Unfortunately, now the touch screen is acting wonky. There's an area near the top of the screen that is completely unresponsive to touches, which makes it difficult to view notifications, among other things. I've checked and the Razer phone 1 doesn't have gestures, so is there some way to reset the screen or otherwise fix the problem?
