Do you happen to know which mouse your friend owns or what the shape of the mouse looks like? To see which mouse he likes.
I personally like and use the Razer Mamba-Elite.
Still, I have to say that the Razer Deathadder-Elite (Overwatch) with the Overwatch skin has something that your friend might like.
Razer Mamba-Elite and Razer Deathadder-Elite (Overwatch) have 16,000 DPI which most people are interested in.
There are other versions of the deathadder e.g. the (Black Edition):

Like the folks above mentioned above, Deathadder elite is still an unmatched crown mouse for the FPS games( in this case your friend require it for Overwatch ).
Even from my experience the Deathadder elite with its customization of 16000 dpi is an amazing spec.
+1DeathAdder will be the most universal choice.
But I'll look also at Viper (low weight), ambidextrous.

Razer's Basilisk line is also good... and they're not superbly expensive either like some of the older stuff and come feature packed!

I use DeathAdder for one year and it's really great to me.
Then go with a deathadder. I was wondering if he was left-handed then go with an ambidextrous, but if not then go with a deathadder.
