MacOS 10.12.6 Synapse not connecting

Hello, I recently bought the Razer Kraken Kitty Edition and it is working (I can hear audio and my mic is working,) but I am having trouble changing the colors for the Kitty Ears. I have downloaded through **THIS** thread I found on this site, more specifically I used **THIS** link to actually get synapse. Every time I open up synapse I get a blank screen that says "Please connect a Razer Synapse enabled device" This is very confusing to me, I am not trying to stream on Twitch or anything like that, I just want to change the colors for aesthetic reasons. I have downloaded different types of Synapse 2.0 for different MacOS types, and all have given me the same message... I even made an account and registered my Kitty Krakens on there. Are the Kitty Krakens not compatible with Synapse and I can only change the colors through streaming? I have tried to fix this for a few hours now and I've seen every youtube and reddit forum that I could find... What am I doing wrong?
