blackwidow chroma v2 doesnt work?

A while ago i used to play fortnite on my ps4 with my blackwidow and it lit up(granted i didnt use on board memory so it just did the colour spectrum) and worked so when i tried to do it on my switch to troll some people on games it didnt light up(sadly because nintendo doesnt allow it ). so i connected it to my pc and it wasnt using my lighting effects. it was using the rainbow wave and when i press a key nothing lights up but that in green(sorry i forgot the name) and there is no input when i try to type.i have seen a lot of people post the same thing but never get the answer so i dont know what to do.

    Hi there! Have you tried plugging it into another PC to see if the same thing happens? Let me know.
