How do I clean my Razer Firefly Hard Edition?

I think that I have been using this pad for like 1 and a half to 2 years now, and the surface is starting to feel really rough. My mouse doesn't slide that smoothly on the pad anymore, and the sound that it makes seems not so good. It's definitely not my mouse, becasue when I slide my mouse on the corners it feels really smooth but in the middle it doesn't. I tried cleaning it with a damp cloth, but I think it actually ruins it even more. If anyone knows a solution it would help me A LOT! Her are 2 images of how it looks: https://imgur.com/a/ikBTPSm

Ive had the razer firefly hard for about a year now and all I do is get a wet-wipe (or something similar which is water based) and clean the surface that way. I have had no issues of the pad getting rough but the bottom of my death adder has seen better days! Hope this helps...
