Razer Lancehead not charging and USB wireless dongle not detecting mouse.

Hi, As stated in the title, my brand new (although bought i 2019 but unopened till yesterday) Razer Lancehead is not charging after being put to 'off mode' and leaving it plugged into my chargeable USB laptop overnight (my laptop is a brand new Aftershock laptop) . It still works fine when hardwired via the USB cable and i am able to sets the keys, DPI and lightings just fine. On top of this, the USB wireless dongle is not detecting the mouse. I've tried to use the Razer Lancehead wireless pairing utility but the dongle is not detected at all. Other than that, I also have tried:- 1) different usb ports 2) reinstalled mouse driver/s on 3) update mouse firmware 4) tried with and without razer synapse 5) tried on my older laptop but still to no avail. When I checked for the warranty on your Razer support, it says that there is no more warranty cover left for this device (maybe because I bought it last year?) Please advise.
