MASSIVE FPS DROP OUT OF NOWHERE

I have a Razer 15 with the 2070 maxQ design GPU. I logged on today after a day away from the laptop to play some outriders or warzone and my FPS dropped well below 60fps. I have the laptop setup for gaming through all the apps and power settings. I have never had this issue until this morning. I pulled the back off last week and cleaned out any dust that had accumulated. There is ample air flow under the laptop as I have it inverted with a 5 fan cooling pad below. My FPS in warzone has been well over 120-130 while playing and now it’s around 20-30. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I spent over 2k on this laptop a year ago.
